Medical expenses, specialized equipment, travel costs, therapy services, and other healthcare-related needs can place significant financial strain on families already navigating difficult circumstances.

The Minnesota Kids Foundation Care Connections Program exists to help bridge those gaps by providing assistance to eligible children and families when resources are available.

Our mission is simple:

To help children access the care, support, and opportunities they need to live healthier, happier lives.

Every situation is unique. Assistance requests are reviewed individually, and awards may vary based on available funding, demonstrated need, and the specific circumstances of the child and family.

Applications are evaluated based on several factors, including:

• Financial hardship or demonstrated need
• Availability of other resources
• Potential impact on the child and family
• Available funding

Because resources are limited, assistance may be provided in full, in part, or through referrals to additional organizations and community resources.

We understand that asking for help is not always easy.

Every application is reviewed with compassion, respect, and confidentiality.

Our goal is not simply to provide financial assistance, but to help remove barriers that may prevent children from receiving the care, support, and opportunities they deserve.
