Camp Scholarship Program

At Minnesota Kids Foundation, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, explore, and create lasting memories through enriching camp experiences.

Unfortunately, financial barriers can prevent some children from attending camps that provide education, recreation, personal growth, leadership development, and lifelong friendships. Our Camp Scholarship Program exists to help bridge that gap.

Through the generosity of donors, sponsors, and community supporters, Minnesota Kids Foundation awards camp scholarships to eligible children and families throughout Minnesota. Scholarships may be awarded in various amounts based on available funding, demonstrated need, and the individual circumstances of each applicant.

Scholarship amounts vary and may provide partial or full assistance toward camp-related expenses, including:

• Registration Fees
• Camp Tuition
• Required Program Costs
• Other approved camp-related expenses

Award amounts are determined by the Minnesota Kids Foundation Assistance Review Committee based on available funding and the needs of each applicant.

Parents, guardians, or legal caregivers of children residing in Minnesota may apply for camp scholarship assistance. Applications are reviewed confidentially and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

A camp experience can provide more than just fun. It can build confidence, teach new skills, encourage independence, foster friendships, and create memories that last a lifetime.
